in this book fireheart finds out that graystripe is in love with silverstream, a riverclan cat. graystripes is gone many times to meet silverstream and fireheart helps do graystripes warrior duties. then later in the story silverstream is expecting kits. when she is giving birth she dies from too much blood loss. but the two kits survive. their names are stormkit and featherkit. a female and a male.graystripe later joins riverclan because he wants to be with his kits.
